Hair Extension Aftercare Guide

To keep your hair looking soft, seamless, and long-lasting, please follow the guidelines below:

 

Washing & Care

 

• Brush gently before and after washing, starting from the ends and working your way up

• Use a professional sulphate-free shampoo suitable for colour-treated hair

• Avoid volumising shampoos, as they can cause dryness and tangling

• Wash in cool to warm water and avoid rough scrubbing

• Gently run your fingers through the hair in a downward motion while rinsing

• Apply conditioner to mid-lengths and ends only, avoiding the scalp and bonds

 

Drying & Styling

 

• Pat hair dry gently with a towel — do not rub

• Always dry the roots after washing

• Avoid going to bed with wet hair, as this can cause matting

• Blow-dry in a downward direction following the natural hair flow

• Use a leave-in treatment or oil on mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the bonds

 

Maintenance

 

• Brush your hair 2–3 times daily to prevent tangling at the root

• Use a soft, extension-friendly brush

• Deep condition once to twice weekly, keeping product away from the scalp

• Avoid over-washing — 2–3 times per week is ideal

• Use dry shampoo between washes if needed

 

Lifestyle Tips

 

• Tie or loosely braid your hair before bed

• Never sleep with wet hair

• Before swimming, wet your hair with clean water, apply conditioner, and braid

• Minimise exposure to salt water and chlorine where possible
